Meet Alix R-moni
Hi there! I’m Alix, a 29-year-old writer born on the South Side of Chicago. Though my roots are in Englewood, I spent my formative years in the suburbs of Chicago and San Diego. I graduated from Clark Atlanta University in 2017 with a B.A. in Mass Media Arts, concentrating in journalism.
In 2017, I launched Live with Alix as an all-things-millennial platform, bringing you humorous, engaging, and raw think pieces that dissect the latest trending topics. My goal was to create a name and brand for myself in the media industry, inspired by my early aspirations in entertainment. However, shortly after graduation, I transitioned into a career in commercial real estate, which shifted my focus.
Somewhere along the way, amidst my career and my first adult relationship, I lost my passion for writing. Over the years, I’ve dabbled back into this blog as an outlet, using it to be vulnerable and transparent about the highs and lows of adulthood.
What started as a fun outlet for millennial tea has evolved alongside me as I’ve grown into a woman, a professional, and—most importantly—a mother. Today, Live with Alix serves as a digital diary and has evolved into a lifestyle blog where I share my thoughts, inner monologues, and experiences as I navigate through life. I invite you to join me on this journey of growth, reflection, and discovery.
